Beginner Seed Starter Kit

This kit is for anyone who has never grown from seed and wants a simple place to start. The contents are listed on the shop page; here is how to get good results from a seed-starting setup.

1. Moisten the growing medium until it feels like a wrung-out sponge — damp, not dripping.
2. Sow seeds at the depth given on the seed packet; leafy greens are usually sown shallow.
3. Keep in bright shade until sprouts appear, then move to gentle morning sun.
4. Water gently from the side or from below so seedlings are not knocked over.
5. Move seedlings into bigger pots when they have 2–4 true leaves.

Tip: start with fast, forgiving crops like kangkung or bayam. An early success makes it much easier to keep going.
