A hand pressure sprayer gives a fine, even mist that a watering can cannot. It is handy for watering delicate seedlings without knocking them over, applying diluted liquid feeds, and reaching the undersides of leaves with plant sprays.
- Fill with water, or with your diluted mix made up according to the product label.
- Screw the top on firmly and pump to build pressure.
- Spray from a short distance so the mist lands where you want it, not on the wind.
- After use, release the pressure, empty the tank, and rinse the tank and nozzle with clean water.
Tip: label your sprayers. Keep one only for plain water for seedlings, and use another for fertilizer or pest sprays, so you never mist young plants with leftover spray.
